TELEHEALTH LIMITATIONS
The diagnostic evaluation offered through EDS Connective is conducted via telehealth by independently licensed healthcare providers on a third party telehealth platform. Telehealth-based evaluation has inherent limitations compared to in-person examination, including:
- Providers cannot perform hands-on physical examination;
- Visual assessment is limited to photographs and video you provide;
- The evaluation relies on self-reported medical history and user-submitted materials;
- Technical factors (connectivity, image quality) may affect the encounter;
- Not all conditions or comorbidities may be identified through telehealth alone.
Your diagnostic results should be reviewed with and confirmed by your primary care physician or an appropriate healthcare specialist. A telehealth evaluation does not replace comprehensive in-person examination where clinically indicated. EDS Connective does not provide telehealth services and does not guarantee any particular or specific diagnostic outcome.
