ECHO is a program developed by the Ehlers-Danlos Society to provide ongoing training and continued education for clinicians in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of EDS, hEDS/HSD, and associated symptoms and conditions. It is the gold standard for EDS clinical training, and it is required of every EDS Connective provider.
EDS ECHO is led by Dr. Alan Hakim, Dr. Clair Francomano, and Dr. Dacre Knight - three of the world's leading EDS and hypermobility specialists.
Every EDS Connective provider meets a rigorous set of qualifications — not just to practice medicine, but to practice it well in this highly specialized space.
All EDS Connective providers hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree and are board-certified in their specialty. You are in the hands of fully credentialed physicians.
